The first piece of kit any calisthenics athlete should own. Two rings. Two straps. Hang from anything. Train everything.

Hangs from anything

The straps run to 4.5m. That's enough for almost any anchor you'll come across.

A pull-up bar at home. A pull-up bar at the public gym. The squat rack. A soccer goal crossbar. A jungle gym at the local school. A ceiling beam. A garage rafter. A tree branch in the park. If it holds your weight and doesn't move, it works.

Setup is under a minute. Pack them down and they fit in a bag. Inside in winter. Outside in summer. The location doesn't matter. The training does.

Trains everything

Strength scaled by body angle. Skill work scaled by lever length. The same two rings carry you from your first inverted row to a full front lever.

Foundational — ring rows, body curls, chest flyes, tricep extensions.

Strength — pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, push-ups, archer push-ups, pike push-ups, L-sits, support holds, ring-assisted pistols, skin the cat.

Advanced — tuck front lever, advanced-tuck front lever, archer pull-ups, uneven pull-ups.

Elite — half-lay front lever, straddle front lever, full front lever, ring muscle-up, ring HSPU.

One piece of kit. The whole progression.

The instability

A fixed bar holds its position. Rings don't.

Every rep, your hands rotate freely and your stabilisers fire to control the rotation — a demand a fixed bar can't reproduce. Movements you're already strong at will feel different here. That's not a problem with the rings. That's exactly what they're for.

Ring dips go deeper than most fixed stations allow. Ring rows scale from day-one to advanced by changing your body angle. Push-ups under instability ask different things of the chest, shoulder, and core than the floor version. Same kit, every level.

The build

Birch wood. 170mm inner diameter. 33mm ring thickness. 4.5m straps with metal buckles.

Birch absorbs moisture. The sweatier your hands get, the better the grip — not worse. Plastic slips. Metal is cold and hard through the whole session. Wood has been the standard for gymnastic rings for over a century. There's a reason it hasn't changed.

170mm fits standard hand sizes without forcing a grip position. Enough room to move naturally. Not so wide you're compensating.

Care

Sweat is fine. Rain is not. Birch absorbs moisture — that's the grip benefit during training, but full water exposure makes the rings swell and fail. Don't leave them outside in the rain. If they get wet, dry them immediately and let them air before storing. Straps handle outdoor conditions without issue.

Straps kept slipping in the buckle

These would have been amazing, but the straps kept slipping the moment I put weight on them. I weigh 80kg and the straps just kept sliding, so I could never keep both at the same height. I returned the product twice — first time it was just one buckle slipping, second time both buckles couldn't hold their position. I've given up and asked for a refund.

Sean · August 2025

Our reply

Sorry you went through that twice. The strap has to be threaded the right way: in through the middle of the buckle, out at the end. If you thread it in from the outside and out through the middle, it will slip as soon as you put weight on it.

Amazing

Good quality straps, strong clips, and rings that feel great in the hand! I've been using them for a few weeks now at 95kg and they hold my weight perfectly. Highly recommend.

Best quality rings I've used

Best quality gymnastics rings I've ever used. Just take the time to learn how to insert the strap properly so it locks in securely.

Quality rings and straps

As someone over 100kg, I need to be able to trust my equipment. The only thing missing is a carry bag for the rings and straps — otherwise, these will be my go-to rings from here on out.

Heinrich · August 2022

Heavy-duty straps, great value

I've ordered a few of their products — quality is always good, and cheaper than what you'll find in most stores. The straps are HEAVY DUTY, no question.

Jeremy · July 2022

Pure quality

The wood and the straps are pure 🔥 — high-grade quality. The packaging is amazing and the detail on the straps is the best. Took my calisthenics game to the next level.

Devon · July 2022

Werner · June 2022

Good quality rings and straps. Highly recommended.

Justin · May 2022

Strong build, lots to do with rings

The straps and buckle are strong. Ring thickness is just right. Strap length is nice and long. There are so many exercises you can do with rings and it can be a lot of fun. My only wish is that the rings were varnished.

Aaisha · March 2022

Wow! I love the smooth finish on the wood.

Gabriel · December 2021

The rings feel great in the hands and the straps feel like excellent quality.

Quick answers.

Why wood over plastic or metal?

Wood absorbs sweat. Grip improves as your hands get wetter. Plastic and metal do the opposite. For dips, support holds, L-sits — anything where your grip is the limiting factor — wood is the right choice.

What can I hang them from?

Anything that holds your bodyweight without moving. A pull-up bar, a squat rack, a soccer goal, a jungle gym, a ceiling beam, a rafter, a tree branch. Most things work.

Do I need to be strong to start?

No. Ring rows at a shallow angle are manageable from day one. Support holds and ring dips are advanced. The same kit covers both. Body angle controls the difficulty.

How much overhead clearance do I need?

Straps adjust from 9cm to 225cm of usable hang. For full-hang movements, 2.5–3m of overhead clearance is comfortable. Less works for rows and push-up variations.

What if the straps slip?

The strap has to be threaded the right way: in through the middle of the buckle, out at the end. If you thread it in from the outside and out through the middle, it will slip as soon as you put weight on it.

Can I use them outside?

Yes, in dry weather. The straps handle outdoor conditions. The rings are birch wood and will swell and fail if fully soaked — don't leave them out in the rain, and dry them immediately if they get wet. Sweat from a session is fine.

How fast does it ship?
